Of all the Armenian saints, St.Gregory the Illuminator (Krikor Loosavorich) , Father and Patron Saint of the Armenian Church, was the most significant because in 301 A.D., St. Gregory converted King Tiridates III to Christianity and Armenia became the first Christian Nation.

To celebrate this historic event, the Armenian Heritage Organization has collaborated with the Internationally renowned Balian Family to produce this "Limited Edition 1700th Anniversary Commemorative Plaque" that depicts the vision of St. Gregory. It shows God descending from Heaven and striking the ground with a golden hammer indicating where the First Christian Church should be built.
The Church was named Holy Etchmiadzin, which means

"The Only-Begotten One Descended"

"Eench bes es" means "How are you?". The response in Armenian is "Lav Yehm," which means, "I’m fine." If the response was "Lav Chem" then maybe a home remedy was required to fix the problem.

In the olden days if you were not well, our ethnic ancestors, not blessed with the abundance of medications that are available today (such as antibiotics, vaccines, aspirin, fancy ointments, salves, lozenges, gargles, etc.), had to rely on "home remedies" for relief. So, they made do with a variety of basic ingredients which were readily available locally, and the preparations were passed on "father-to-son", or more accurately, "mother-to daughter."
